Q1: Can I only return one card to the bottom of the deck from the trash with this card's On Play When Digivolving When Attacking effect?
No, you can't. A "by" condition can't be met if only some of the required actions are performed. The conditions for this On Play When Digivolving When Attacking effect require you to return three cards to the bottom of the deck.
Q2: I used this card's On Play When Digivolving When Attacking effect to delete an opponent's Digimon with an On Deletion effect, and I used the part of the effect after "then" to return that card from their trash to the bottom of the deck. Can that deleted card's On Deletion effect activate at such times?
No, it can't be activated. When a card with an effect that's pending activation leaves its current area while activation is pending, the effect can no longer be activated. In this case, the deleted card's On Deletion effect triggers, but it's removed from the trash before the effect can activate.
Q3: Does this card's On Play When Digivolving When Attacking effect allow me to choose my trash and my opponent's trash?
Yes, you can choose your trash and your opponent's. Additionally, you can choose any combination of three cards from both trashes, for example, one card from your own trash and two cards from your opponent's trash.
Q4: Which player chooses the cards that are to be returned to the deck from my opponent’s trash by this card's On Play When Digivolving When Attacking effect?
The player who activated this card's effect. Which cards and what order to return them in are both specified by the player who activated this effect, then they are returned to the deck.
Q5: I chose 3 cards including a Digi-Egg card from the trash for this card's On Play When Digivolving When Attacking effect. At such times, the rules place the Digi-Egg card at the bottom of the Digi-Egg deck when it would be returned to the deck. Is this effect's "by" condition met?
