Q1: Can I process the part of the effect after "then" in this card's Main effect without meeting the "by" condition?
No, you can't. If you don't trash 1 Appmon trait card from your hand, you can't process the part after "then" in this card's Main effect.
Q2: This card's Delay effect activates when one of my Digimon with an On Deletion effect is deleted, and I link the deleted card to my Digimon. Can I then activate the On Deletion effect on the deleted Digimon?
